RI welcomes Nigerian crude oil supply
Jakarta, May 13 -- The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) confirmed crude oil supplies from Nigeria have arrived in Indonesia as one of the government's efforts to diversify national crude oil sources.
"Some have been realized, (one from Nigeria) it's already underway; some have (arrived)," the ministry's Director General of Oil and Gas, Laode Sulaeman, said here on Wednesday.
Sulaeman added Indonesia has secured crude oil supplies from countries whose the shipping routes do not pass through the Strait of Hormuz, which now remains closed amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States (US), Israel, and Iran.
