Jakarta, Sept. 3 -- President Prabowo Subianto said Indonesia is pushing for faster economic growth to lift millions out of poverty and provide them with a dignified life.

"We seek faster economic growth, not growth just for growth's sake, but growth that can lift millions of people out of poverty into dignity," he remarked at the 11th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, on Thursday.

Speaking during a broadcast on the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel, Prabowo said this principle reflects an economic philosophy prioritizing realism, pragmatism, and achieving the greatest good for the greatest number of people.
