Jakarta, April 17 -- Indonesia is seeking to secure oil and gas supplies from Russia amid constrained global availability due to the Middle East conflict, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said.
He noted that Indonesia's domestic energy supply remains insufficient to meet national demand, prompting the government to explore cooperation with major energy producers.
Bahlil said President Prabowo Subianto and Russian President Vladimir Putin had agreed on long-term energy cooperation.
