RI offers US$11.86 bln infrastructure projects to Japanese investors
Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- The Indonesian government has offered 32 strategic transportation and infrastructure projects valued at Rp207.64 trillion (approximately US$11.86 billion) to Japanese corporate investors to deepen bilateral economic partnerships.
The project pipeline was presented during the Indonesia-Japan Transportation and Infrastructure Business Forum and Business Matching 2026, held in Tokyo on August 27-28.
Organized by the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo in collaboration with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the forum brought together project leaders from nine Indonesian state-owned and regional enterprises (SOEs and ROEs) with 50 representatives from 36 major Japanese companies and financial institutions.
