Jakarta, March 1 -- The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology and the National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) reinforced coordination to prevent and handle sexual violence in universities on Friday (Feb. 27).

Minister Brian Yuliarto welcomed Komnas Perempuan's initiative as part of creating safer higher education environments and expressed openness to collaborative efforts across institutions.

"This meeting clarifies each institution's services and identifies areas where inter-agency synergy can be strengthened," Yuliarto said in a statement received Sunday.
