Jakarta, March 3 -- Indonesia's Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said global geopolitical tensions have not significantly disrupted the country's financial stability, stressing that fiscal resilience remains intact despite rising risks from U.S.-Iran conflict and oil price volatility.
Speaking ahead of a meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, Purbaya noted that the first impact of the conflict would be seen in exports and global oil prices.
He explained that the government has already calculated scenarios for oil price surges.
"I've run the numbers-even if crude oil hits $92 per barrel, we can still manage the budget. So there's no problem," he said.
