RI accelerates overhaul of 13,000 MBG service centers
Jakarta, July 29 -- Indonesian government will accelerate the restructuring of more than 13,000 service centers under its Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme, prioritising areas with high stunting rates while updating beneficiary data for 63 million recipients.
Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan announced the plan after a limited cabinet meeting on improving the programme's governance in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Hasan said the government had divided the restructuring into two priority phases to ensure the long-term sustainability and operational readiness of MBG service centers nationwide.
