Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- Indonesia and Thailand agreed to deepen their strategic partnership and strengthen ASEAN stability by expanding bilateral cooperation, as their leaders reaffirmed a shared commitment to regional peace and prosperity amid growing global uncertainty.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul reached the agreement during a bilateral meeting in Jakarta on Monday.

Prabowo said the meeting marked the second leaders' consultation since Indonesia and Thailand elevated their bilateral relations to a strategic partnership last year.
