Jakarta, July 6 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong reaffirmed ASEAN's stance on resolving disputes peacefully through dialogue and diplomacy across all regions.

In a joint statement at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday, President Prabowo stated that during the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders' Retreat, the two leaders discussed various issues ranging from bilateral cooperation to regional and global affairs.

"We reaffirmed that ASEAN maintains that every dispute must be resolved peacefully through dialogue and diplomacy. Not only in our region, but across all regions," President Prabowo said.
