Jakarta, March 26 -- An Indonesian lawmaker on Thursday called the resignation of the military's intelligence chief a "good example" of accountability after a controversy over an acid attack on a rights activist, while urging a full and transparent investigation into the case.

TB Hasanuddin , a senior member of the House of Representatives' (DPR's) Commission I, said Strategic Intelligence Agency chief Lt. Gen. Yudi Abrimantyo had shown strong moral responsibility by stepping down following allegations linked to the attack on Andrie Yunus .
