Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced five programs to commemorate National Teachers' Day 2026 on November 25, with activities designed to involve all educators under its authority.

"The Religious Affairs Ministry's events marking National Teachers' Day 2026 will certainly involve all teachers under our purview," Director General of Islamic Education Amien Suyitno said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

He said the participants would include more than 800,000 teachers under the ministry's Directorate of Teachers and Education Personnel, over 300,000 Islamic religious education teachers working at various schools, and educators serving under the ministry's non-Islamic religious education units.
