Jakarta, Feb. 25 -- The Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions plans to seek President Prabowo Subianto's willingness to convene with leaders of regions still categorized as underdeveloped.

Villages Minister Yandri Susanto signaled approval for the meeting following a proposal from North Nias District Head Amizaro Waruwu during a coordination meeting in Jakarta on Wednesday.

"I think this proposal is noteworthy, reflecting regions' aspirations. We will make an effort to facilitate their meeting with Mr. President," he told the media after the event.
