Indonesia, June 27 -- The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has said that public honesty in reporting economic activities is crucial to the success of the 2026 Economic Census.

"The success of the 2026 Economic Census is the responsibility of all elements of society and depends heavily on public honesty in providing information on their economic activities," BPS Head Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said here on Saturday.

She added that the success of the census is also measured by the extent to which no businesses or households are left unrecorded during data collection by field officers.
