Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Puan Maharani has underscored the importance of fostering transformative leadership across all state institutions to promote governance that prioritizes national interests and public welfare.

She made the remarks in her keynote address at the 2026 Habibie Democracy Forum in Jakarta on Tuesday, which carried the theme "Transformative Leadership for Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Democracy."

"Transformative leadership must grow across all state institutions as a key agenda to strengthen and sharpen ways of thinking and working, increasingly placing governance in the service of national interests," she said.
