Jakarta, Sept. 13 -- Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Chairman Erick Thohir urged Indonesian football fans to warmly welcome supporters of foreign teams competing in the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup in Jakarta and Bandung.

"We hope that supporters of guest teams such as Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam will be properly received here," he said during a parade ahead of the tournament in Jakarta.

Speaking at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout on Sunday, Thohir expressed confidence that Indonesians would support the national team responsibly, helping ensure a safe and comfortable environment throughout the inaugural championship.
