Jakarta, March 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto said he will deliver a "special briefing" to the Indonesian public to explain rising global tensions and how the country will manage their potential impact.

The president said geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have affected global economic stability and security, and Indonesia is not immune to those effects.

"Due to the war in the Middle East, we must be prepared to face potential hardships, even though we are strong. I will soon present a special briefing to all the people of Indonesia," Prabowo said, as broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat on Monday.
