Jakarta, Aug. 16 -- Logistical assistance in the form of basic food packages from President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Maumere, Sikka District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Sunday to meet the basic needs of people affected by the earthquake.

Berton SP Panjaitan, Acting Head of the Data, Information, and Disaster Communication Center at the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), said in Jakarta on Sunday that the initial emergency response assistance from President Prabowo was transported by military aircraft.
