Jakarta, March 13 -- President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana to make the most of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr and Nyepi (Balinese Day of Silence) holidays to boost both domestic and international tourist numbers.

To achieve this, the President directed Minister Wardhana to personally inspect flagship tourist destinations to ensure they are fully prepared to welcome visitors.

"I ask the Tourism Minister to actively visit tourist destinations to promote all aspects of our tourism," President Prabowo stated during a plenary cabinet meeting at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday.
