Jakarta, May 1 -- President Prabowo Subianto said he will travel to Nganjuk, East Java, this month to inaugurate the Marsinah Museum.

"This month, I will go to Nglundo Village in Nganjuk, East Java, to inaugurate the Marsinah Museum," he said at the 2026 International Workers' Day event at the National Monument (Monas) in Jakarta on Friday.

Prabowo said the museum is part of efforts to honor workers' struggles, noting that Marsinah has been recognized as a national hero.

He also reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving workers' welfare.

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa said the museum will serve as a space for younger generations to learn about Marsinah's courage and struggle.
