Jakarta, Oct. 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto swore in Police General Suyudi Ario Seto as the new Chief of the National Police (Polri) on Thursday, succeeding General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Prabowo also inaugurated Commissioner General Wahyu Hadiningrat as Deputy Chief of Polri, replacing Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo.

Their appointments were formalized under Presidential Decrees Nos. 96 and 97/Polri/2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of the Chief and Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police.

During the ceremony taking place at the State Palace in Jakarta, President Prabowo guided Suyudi and Wahyu in taking the oath of office.
