Jakarta, March 2 -- President Prabowo Subianto acted as the inspector of the ceremony to lead the military funeral of Indonesia's sixth vice president, Try Sutrisno, at the Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery here on Monday afternoon.

At the podium near the grave, President Prabowo, wearing a black suit complete with a black peci, began the ceremony by receiving a report from the ceremony commander, Infantry Colonel Benny Angga.

The military funeral proceeded with the reading of the late leader's brief biography, including his military service record and the decorations and honors he received throughout his lifetime.

In addition to domestic awards, Try Sutrisno also received numerous honors from foreign countries.
