Natuna, April 27 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto donated a cow for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province.

Head of the Natuna Food Security and Agriculture Agency (DKPP), Wan Syazali, when was confirmed in Natuna on Monday, said the local government had been asked to submit proposal for the best cow to be used as the President's sacrificial cow.

He explained the criteria for the cow were has at least one ton and in good health. However, based on field inspections, no such cow was available.

"We purposed a cow with weight around 879.46 kilograms. The largest currently available," he said.
