Amman, Feb. 25 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II of Jordan focused their bilateral meeting at Basman Palace in Amman on developments in Palestine, including the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.

The meeting was held on Wednesday as the main agenda of President Prabowo's visit to Jordan on February 24-25.

During the talks, President Prabowo expressed concern over escalating violence by Israeli forces against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.

He said recent developments in the West Bank could hinder ongoing multilateral peace efforts in Gaza by countries involved in the Board of Peace, including Indonesia.
