Jakarta, Sept. 5 -- President Prabowo Subianto has ordered the enforcement of regulations in forest areas to be carried out firmly, transparently, and accountably.

The president issued the directive during a meeting with the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force, led by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, in Hambalang, West Java, on Friday.

According to a statement released on Saturday, the meeting took place shortly after Prabowo returned from his working visit to Vladivostok, Russia.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the task force briefed the president on the latest findings and enforcement measures regarding various violations in forest areas.
