Jakarta, May 9 -- President Prabowo Subianto has underscored the importance of enhancing communication and internet access for communities in Indonesia's outermost regions to ensure they remain connected and experience the presence of the state.

During a working visit to Miangas, Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi, on Saturday, President Prabowo stated that the government will provide assistance that includes hundreds of Starlink service units, mobile phones, internet modems, and the strengthening of telecommunications infrastructure through the development of base transceiver stations (BTS).
