Jakarta, Aug. 14 -- President Prabowo Subianto affirmed his determination to initiate the construction of a Giant Sea Wall along Java's northern coast during his administration, noting that the infrastructure project is expected to take up to 20 years to complete.

Delivering the Government Statement on the Bill on the 2027 State Budget and Financial Note at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Friday, Prabowo announced that the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has produced technological breakthroughs to support the venture.
