Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- President Prabowo Subianto urged the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) to enhance their professionalism in serving the nation and helping Indonesia navigate an increasingly complex global security environment.

He delivered the message during a briefing for 800 senior TNI and Polri officers at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday, Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Dudung Abdurachman said.

Dudung added that the briefing also focused on personnel capacity building, with the president stressing the need to align education and training programs with emerging threats and evolving security risks.
