Jakarta, March 22 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday pledged sweeping reforms in the education sector, focusing on large-scale school renovations and accelerated digitalization to improve learning quality nationwide.

Prabowo said the government aims to renovate 300,000 schools over the next five years as part of efforts to upgrade education infrastructure.

The plan was outlined during a public dialogue titled "President Prabowo Answers Criticism on MBG, BOP Regarding Palestine & US Tariff Negotiations With Donald Trump," which was broadcast on Saturday.
