Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the government's target of disbursing up to Rp400 trillion (more than US$22 billion) in loans in 2027 to boost the productivity of 28 million beneficiary families.

Speaking at the National Coordination Meeting of Regional Financial Access Acceleration Teams (TPAKD) in Jakarta on Thursday, he said the lending program is expected to reach various segments of society.

Prabowo noted that the government is targeting farmers, fishers, rural communities, low-income urban residents, and people living in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost regions.
