Jakarta, Oct. 2 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Friday swore in Syahganda Nainggolan as head of Indonesia's Government Communications Agency (Bakom) and Fadli Tri Hartono as his deputy.

The appointments were made under Presidential Decree No. 106/P/2026, signed in Jakarta on October 1, 2026, concerning the appointment of Bakom's head and deputy.

The newly appointed officials pledged to uphold professional ethics and carry out their duties responsibly during the swearing-in ceremony.

Syahganda, a political analyst and activist, replaces Muhammad Qodari, who was appointed secretary and member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres).
