Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- Mastery of science and technology was highlighted as the key to a nation's progress, as conveyed by President Prabowo Subianto to 150 researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) at the Presidential Palace on Thursday.

"We all understand that a nation's development is determined by the capability in science and technology. A nation capable of mastering science and technology will advance rapidly. The key is science and technology," the head of state emphasized.

According to him, mastery of science and technology depends on the quality of education. He therefore emphasized education as the foundation for developing high-quality human resources.
