Jakarta, April 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said law enforcement is key to protecting and managing state assets for public welfare.

"The law is a primary instrument to safeguard the nation's wealth. Without it, people cannot prosper," he said at the Attorney General's Office in Jakarta on Friday.

He highlighted ongoing violations harming the state, including corruption, smuggling, illegal mining, and abuse of authority, and reaffirmed his commitment to enforcing the law impartially.

"I will use all authority granted by the 1945 Constitution to the President of Indonesia to enforce the law without discrimination," he said.
