Jakarta, April 29 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed the Indonesian government's commitment to investing heavily in education, including through school renovations and facility upgrades.
"Education is the key to our nation's resurgence. I will prioritize and invest heavily in education for the sake of our nation's future," he emphasized after monitoring Cilacap 1 State High School, Cilacap, Central Java, on Wednesday.
The president told the press that the government will continue to accelerate the renovation and revitalization of schools across Indonesia, targeting the completion of repairs for approximately 288,000 schools by 2028.
