Jakarta, May 29 -- Indonesia-France bilateral relationship are currently at their highest level ever, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said during a joint press statement with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Thursday (May 28).

"Your Excellency, Indonesia-France relationship are at what I believe to be their highest level ever," Prabowo remarked as monitored from the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.

Prabowo noted the relationship is currently very strong and aligned on several positions at the international level. According to him, such condition is inseparable from President Macron's direct support for Indonesia-France bilateral relationship.
