Jakarta, Oct. 30 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has called for a prudent and comprehensive approach to improving education quality, saying it is essential to laying a stronger foundation for national development.

"The key to successful nation-building efforts lies in education," he said during the inauguration of a new campus of Taruna Nusantara High School in Cimahi, West Java, on Friday, according to a statement received in Jakarta.
