Prabowo's visit to France yields US$3.5 billion commercial deals
Jakarta, May 31 -- The state visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to France generated four commercial deals worth US$3.5 billion (Rp61.25 trillion), strengthening bilateral relationship between two countries.
According to a statement by the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) on Saturday (May 30), Indonesian Minister of Investment and Downstream Development Rosan Roeslani informed the agreements were reached at the launch of France-Indonesia High-Level Business Council on Thursday (May 28).
"This forum does not only accommodate dialogue between business actors, but also serves as a driving force to encourage investment, trade, and strategic cooperation with tangible benefits for both countries," Roeslani remarked.
