Jakarta, June 22 -- State Electricity Company (PLN) President Director Darmawan Prasodjo, accompanied by a delegation, visited President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday to report developments in the rolling blackout affecting Java.

Speaking at a press conference before meeting the president, Prasodjo confirmed that temporary power outages had been rolling across several regions in Java since last week.

"Since yesterday, Sunday, the conditions of the electricity system on Java Island have begun to improve, enabling us to scale down the rolling blackout," he remarked.
