Jakarta, June 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed Indonesia's commitment to its long-standing non-aligned foreign policy, saying the country seeks constructive relations with all nations while avoiding military alliances.

"I am fortunate to inherit the legacy of our founding fathers. Indonesia's foreign policy is non-alignment. We are friends with all countries and avoid involvement in military pacts," he said at the 18th National Conference of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) in Bandar Lampung on Wednesday.

Prabowo said he reaffirmed the foreign policy principles established by Indonesia's founding leaders shortly after taking office.
