Jakarta, April 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto invoked a Korean proverb to underscore the spirit of partnership with South Korea during a state banquet hosted by President Lee Jae Myung at the Blue House in Seoul on Wednesday.

"I understand there's a famous Korean proverb that goes like this: hamkke gamyeon meolli ganda . If we go together, we will go far," Prabowo said, according to the Presidential Secretariat Press Bureau.

The proverb, he noted, reflects the shared commitment of both nations to elevate their diplomatic ties.

Prabowo emphasized that prosperity is best achieved through solidarity and a strong partnership.
