Jakarta, April 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Friday praised the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (PKH) for recovering hundreds of trillions of rupiah in state assets, calling its work vital to safeguarding Indonesia's natural resources and finances.

Since its establishment in February 2025, the task force has reclaimed assets worth Rp371.1 trillion (about US$21.7 billion), according to government data.

"I want to express my gratitude to the members of this task force. I have the highest appreciation for your sacrifice," Prabowo said in Jakarta.

He delivered the remarks at the Attorney General's Office complex during an event marking the sixth phase of administrative fine transfers, asset recovery and forest area reclamation.
