Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- President Prabowo Subianto issued a strong reassurance to the global business community, declaring that safeguarding domestic and foreign investments in Indonesia is a matter of "national honor."

Speaking at the Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) in Central Halmahera District, North Maluku Province, on Thursday, the president stressed that maintaining strong partnerships with investors is essential to building long-term national prosperity.

"I hereby reaffirm the commitment of the Indonesian government to respect and safeguard all investments-from wherever they originate-made on Indonesian soil," Prabowo stated during a speech broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat.
