Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto has sent a Presidential Letter to the House of Representatives (DPR RI) nominating the Acting Governor of Bank Indonesia, Destry Damayanti, to become the definitive Governor of Bank Indonesia.

The letter was submitted by State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to the DPR RI leadership this Monday.

According to him, Destry is the sole nominee proposed by the president for the position of BI Governor.

"It is a single nomination, Mrs. Destry Damayanti. She currently serves as the acting governor. Tomorrow, the DPR leadership will certainly announce this," Hadi said after submitting the letter at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta.
