Jakarta, March 30 -- President Prabowo Subianto paid a courtesy call on Japanese Emperor Naruhito at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Monday, as part of an official visit to discuss several strategic issues.

Upon arrival at the Imperial Palace complex, President Prabowo was greeted by Emperor Naruhito as he disembarked. The two leaders then proceeded to the Take-no-ma room for a group photo before beginning the discussions.

According to a press release from the Press, Media, and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, with the two leaders holding a one-on-one conversation.
