Jakarta, April 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various sectors during their meeting at the Elysee Palace, Paris, on Tuesday.

President Prabowo was personally welcomed by his French counterpart, along with a guard of honor, during his arrival at the Elysee Palace. After a short photo opportunity, Macron invited Prabowo to the Les Salon des Portraits room for their tete-a-tete session.

According to the Presidential Secretariat, in its statement on Wednesday, the bilateral meeting became a strategic platform for the two leaders to discuss bilateral relations.
