Jakarta, June 23 -- President Prabowo Subianto symbolically inaugurated the construction of 1,151 kilometers of regional roads across 37 provinces throughout Indonesia in Sampang District, East Java, on Tuesday, to promote equitable national development.

According to a live broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat monitored from here on Tuesday, President Prabowo said that regional roads play a strategic role as the lifeblood of the people's economy.

"In the name of God, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, by the grace of Almighty God, hereby inaugurate the 2025 Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads covering 1,151 kilometers throughout Indonesia," President Prabowo remarked.
