Jakarta, May 10 -- President Prabowo Subianto expressed his respect and appreciation to all Indonesian fishermen who are willing to risk their lives at sea to support their families.

Prabowo made the statement while visiting the Red and White Fishermen's Village (KNMP) in South Leato, Dumbo Raya Sub-district, Gorontalo City, on Saturday (May 9).

According to a press release from the RI Government Communication Office (Bakom) on Sunday, Prabowo acknowledged the hardships faced by the fishermen who confront major risks at sea every day to support their families and provide food supplies for the public.
