Jakarta, May 16 -- President Prabowo Subianto on Saturday inaugurated the Marsinah Museum in Nganjuk District, East Java, as a memorial for the Indonesian workers' movement in honor of labor hero Marsinah.

"This morning, Saturday, May 16, 2026, I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, hereby inaugurate the Marsinah Museum and Shelter Home in Nganjuk District, East Java," the president said during the inauguration ceremony, as broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.

The inauguration was followed by the signing of the museum's commemorative plaque.
