Sumedang, July 29 -- President Prabowo Subianto said the selective admission process at the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) reflects the government's commitment to inclusive meritocracy by providing equal career opportunities regardless of social or economic background.

He made the remarks during the inauguration ceremony for newly graduated young civil servants from IPDN in Sumedang District, West Java, on Wednesday.

"Before stepping onto this podium, I received a report stating that all the young civil servants here come from highly diverse backgrounds. Many of them were raised in very modest families, with some being children of laborers, farmers, and non-commissioned military officers," Prabowo said.
