Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- President Prabowo Subianto summoned around 800 senior officers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) to the central courtyard of the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday.

ANTARA observed the arrival of several officials, including Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak, Air Force Chief of Staff Air Chief Marshal Mohamad Tonny Harjono, and National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Head Lieutenant General Suharyanto.

Suharyanto said military and police leaders were invited to the palace to receive directives from President Prabowo.

"We will listen to directives from Mr. President," the BNPB head told reporters.
