Jakarta, June 24 -- President Prabowo Subianto said support from farmers and fishermen was one of the key factors behind his victory in Indonesia's 2024 presidential election.

"I am convinced that HKTI (the Indonesian Farmers Harmony Association) and KTNA (the Andalan Farmers and Fishermen Contact Group) were among the keys to my victory," Prabowo said while attending the 17th National KTNA Week in Gorontalo on Wednesday.

The President said he has maintained a long-standing relationship with farmers and fishermen through his involvement in various agricultural organizations over the years.
